What are the names of some patriotic fiddle tunes?
I have some fiddlers marching in a memorial day parade and need some tunes to play that are patriotic in nature. Thanks.
Well, just about any marching tune could be a fiddle tune.
For marching, look up Yankee Doodle, of course; also Chester, Battle Hymn of the Republic. Do a fiddle arrangement of any Sousa march. Those are the most patriotic ones that come to my mind at the moment.
